Inspired by 3 of my clients and the obstacles they recently had to overcome!

👉 If you are trying to break a bad habit, make it DIFFICULT for you to do it.

For example, if you go to sleep late because you are watching videos on your phone, leave it in another room before going to bed.

MUCH more effective than counting on your willpower to put the phone down at a decent hour.

👉 If you are trying to build a good habit, make it EASY for you to do it.

For example, if you’re trying to do yoga every morning: stay in your PJs, keep it short and have a preset sequence of movements.

The fewer obstacles, the better.

👉 Your routine will be disrupted by stress once in a while, and it’s okay.

What matters most is how you respond to the disruption.

Do you give up and go back to your old unhelpful ways?

Or do you make the conscious choice of doing what you need to become the person you want to be?
