It’s what studies show is enough to see improvements to range of motion.
There’s this idea that stretching takes forever and it’s true to some extent.
You’re unlikely to see dramatic changes in a short amount of time, but if you’re ready to play the long game, studies show that you really don’t have to spend hours stretching every day to see results.
I usually recommend 2 minute hold to my students, because it often takes 1 minute to settle into the stretch and relax, but you don’t even have to stay that long for it to have an effect!
How cool is that?
