• Remind yourself of the WHY. Why do you want to move more? What are the consequences of not sticking to your routine? If you have a goal, how are you going to feel when you’ve achieved it? Visualize it as if it’s already happened and let the emotion be your fuel.

 

  • Every time you practice, take a moment at the end to notice how you feel and imprint it in your brain. Next time you’re struggling with motivation, remind yourself of that feeling of accomplishment, peace, contentment.

 

  • Enjoy it! Find a form of yoga, stretching, exercise that you truly enjoy. Maybe you like strong, dynamic flows, or maybe you like a slower pace with long holds. Whatever it is, find something that you will look forward to doing, and you will never miss a practice!
