Recently I was asked if yoga helped healing from illnesses like the common cold. Here’s an element of answer 😊
“Research suggests that healthy fascia enhances lymphatic flow, which allows for a more efficient immune response and helps regulating inflammation.” (This is a quote from a course I’m taking at the moment on functional anatomy.)

The lymphatics, which are a fundamental part of our immune system, run through the fascia.
So research suggests that when our fascia is healthy, not only do we move better and feel better, we also get less ill!
