Everybody does, Linda!

Meditation isn’t thinking about nothing.

It’s training your mind to focus on only one thing at a time. Your breath, for example.

Thoughts will come and go, that’s normal.

Every time you get distracted, it’s an opportunity to train your mind to come back.

It’s a good thing!

It’s the whole point of the exercise!

If you never got distracted by thoughts during meditation, you would be sitting on top of a hill in India, and we would all be worshipping you and begging you to share your holy wisdom with us mortals.

So instead of being frustrated by the thoughts, can you see that as a good thing? An opportunity to train your mind to respond instead of reacting?

You’ll see the benefits not only on your meditation cushion, but in your everyday life too ✨
